Resumo: Dentigerous cyst is an odontogenic lesion associated with unerupted teeth. This report describes a 9-year-old female patient, with no comorbidities, presenting with pain in tooth 51 and swelling in the right anterior maxillary region, with a two-month history. Clinical and radiographic examinations revealed a cystic lesion associated with the impacted tooth 13, suggestive of a dentigerous cyst. Follow-up imaging demonstrated significant lesion reduction and improved tooth positioning. The final diagnosis was confirmed as a dentigerous cyst. Management included extraction of tooth 53, enucleation of the lesion, and placement of an orthodontic traction device for tooth 13. The patient was referred for orthodontic treatment; although she did not attend regular follow-up visits, later contact confirmed proper alignment of the tooth in the dental arch, indicating successful treatment.
