Resumo: Hyalinizing clear cell carcinoma is a rare malignant tumor of minor salivary glands. A 49-year-old woman presented with a nodular lesion on the hard palate with a two-year history. One year earlier, an incisional biopsy had been performed by another professional, but no report was obtained. Three months prior to presentation, the lesion showed growth and became painful. Clinically, pleomorphic adenoma was initially suspected. A new incisional biopsy revealed a firm tissue fragment measuring 1.1 × 0.7 × 0.5 cm. Histopathological examination showed a malignant glandular neoplasm composed of clear cells arranged in nests and cords within a densely hyalinized stroma, consistent with hyalinizing clear cell carcinoma. The patient underwent surgical resection at a referral oncology center and remains under follow-up, with no evidence of recurrence.
