Título: Clear Cell Renal Carcinoma with Metastasis to the Oral Cavity: A Case Report

Resumo: Case Description:

A 75 year old female patient with a medical history type 2 diabetes mellitus, a right nephrectomy performed 20 years prior, hypothyroidism, and ischemic heart disease treated with the placement of five coronary stents, presented for evaluation of a nodular lesion on the dorsum of her tongue. As part of the diagnostic approach, an excisional biopsy of the lesion was performed. The sample was sent for histopathological examination, and based on the findings, immunomarkers were ordered to define the nature and type of the lesion. Histopathological analysis revealed findings consistent with clear cell renal carcinoma with metastasis to the oral cavity. The patient was referred to the oncology department for follow-up and pharmacological treatment, as well as to identify other anatomical sites with tumor activity.
