Resumo: Patient L.G.S., female, 28 years old, initially presented with a complaint of facial pain associated with symptoms of nasal congestion and was initially diagnosed with sinusitis. After several treatment attempts with an otorhinolaryngologist without resolution of the condition, further imaging exams were performed, revealing the presence of a nodular mass in the left maxillary region.

An incisional biopsy was performed via sinusectomy, with a histopathological diagnosis of adenoid cystic carcinoma of the maxilla in March 2025. The patient was then referred for evaluation by a multidisciplinary team, including the maxillofacial rehabilitation department.

The treatment consisted of a left maxillectomy with safety margins, associated with adjuvant therapy including chemotherapy and radiotherapy. During the intraoperative period, a provisional obturator prosthesis was installed.

After completion of oncologic treatment, a definitive obturator prosthesis was fabricated and installed. The patient remains under multidisciplinary follow-up, showing significant improvement in function and quality of life.
