Resumo: CASE REPORT
A 22 year male patient, followed by the Head and Neck Surgery department with a diagnosis of myxofibrosarcoma in the zygomatic-orbital region, was referred for prosthetic rehabilitation after achieving clinical stability. The patient's history included multiple surgeries for local recurrence, as well as radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
The treatment plan consisted of two implants were placed in positions 3-4, followed by the installation of abutments for supported prosthesis.
Subsequently, digital impressions , including scans of the implant components and a facial scan to perform mirroring of the contralateral side for the design of the prosthetic prototype. This digital model was later duplicated in elastomeric material, followed by the characterization and finishing of the final prosthesis, as well as final adjustments to the prosthetic fixation components.
This study was financed in part by the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - Brasil (CAPES) - Finance Code 001".
