Resumo: A 3-year-old male patient presented with a nodular lesion on the tip of the tongue, clinically compatible with lymphangioma. The lesion showed typical features, including localized swelling and soft consistency, without functional impairment. Ultrasound examination of the cervical region was requested to assess possible extension and involvement of adjacent structures. Based on clinical findings, a conservative approach using cryosurgery was selected. The patient underwent an initial cryosurgical session, followed by five additional sessions at the apex of the tongue, with 15-day intervals between procedures. Progressive reduction in lesion size and improvement in local appearance were observed throughout follow-up. The treatment was well tolerated, with no significant complications or functional deficits. This case highlights cryosurgery as a safe and effective minimally invasive therapeutic option for pediatric lymphangioma, promoting satisfactory clinical outcomes while preserving function and minimizing morbidity in young patients.
