Resumo: A 58-year-old woman was evaluated for a vascular lesion on the left upper lip with a one-year history of progression. Clinical examination and ultrasonography were performed. Imaging findings were consistent with arteriovenous malformation (AVM). Considering the vascular nature and anatomical location, a conservative approach was proposed. The patient underwent eleven sessions of high-power laser therapy using infrared (2.5 W) and blue (0.5 W) wavelengths, generally at 2 W output, targeting the vascular lesion. Due to partial response, three additional sessions of cryotherapy were performed, each consisting of five freeze-thaw cycles. Progressive reduction in lesion volume, color intensity, and vascularity was observed, without functional impairment or significant complications. The patient remains under follow-up with satisfactory aesthetic and clinical outcomes. This case highlights the effectiveness of combining laser therapy and cryotherapy as a minimally invasive alternative for managing oral arteriovenous malformations.
