Resumo: A 55-year-old male patient presented with acute onset of painful oral lesions and lip crusting two days after initiating diclofenac potassium therapy. Clinical examination revealed extensive ulcerations affecting the labial mucosa, vermilion border, and tongue, associated with hemorrhagic crusts and significant discomfort. Based on the clinical history and presentation, a diagnosis of erythema multiforme likely triggered by diclofenac was established. The patient was treated with low-level laser therapy and a single dose of systemic corticosteroid. Significant clinical improvement was observed within days, with complete resolution of lesions after 15 days of follow-up. The patient remains asymptomatic with no recurrence. This case highlights the importance of recognizing drug-induced erythema multiforme and demonstrates the effectiveness of combined corticosteroid therapy and photobiomodulation in symptom control and lesion resolution.
