Resumo: Facial prosthetic rehabilitation plays a crucial role in improving the quality of life of oncological patients who have undergone surgical resections due to head and neck cancers. These defects often result in significant functional, aesthetic, and psychosocial impairments, affecting speech, mastication, breathing, and social interaction. Facial prostheses offer a non-invasive and effective alternative for restoring facial form and partially recovering function, especially in cases where surgical reconstruction is not feasible. Beyond physical restoration, these devices contribute substantially to psychological well-being by enhancing self-esteem, social reintegration, and overall confidence. Advances in materials and digital technologies, such as 3D imaging and printing, have improved the accuracy, comfort, and aesthetic outcomes of prostheses. Multidisciplinary collaboration between surgeons, prosthodontists, and other professionals is essential to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.This study presents a series of clinical cases of facial prosthetic rehabilitation in oncological patients, demonstrating the positive impact of rehabilitation on their quality of life.
