Título: RARE ORAL BULLOUS LICHEN PLANUS WITH PERSISTENT INTACT BULLAE

Resumo: Bullous lichen planus is a rare variant of oral lichen planus characterized by subepithelial bullae. A 65-year-old woman presented with multiple intact, normochromic bullae on the buccal mucosa and oropharynx, associated with erosive areas and dysphagia. Notably, the patient consistently presented with intact bullae during clinical evaluations. An excisional biopsy of a bullous lesion was performed. Histopathological examination showed stratified squamous epithelium with acanthosis and a dense band-like lymphocytic infiltrate in the lamina propria, consistent with lichen planus. Management with topical triamcinolone acetonide in orabase led to marked clinical improvement. After six months of follow-up, symptoms decreased and recurrences were less frequent. This case highlights the importance of recognizing rare clinical presentations of lichen planus to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective management.
