Resumo: Multiple myeloma is a malignant neoplasm of plasma cells that affects bones, kidneys and bone marrow. A 70-year-old female patient was hospitalized with a one-week history of low back pain and hypercalcemia. Radiographic and tomography evaluation revealed multiple lytic bone lesions mainly in her skull, and additional laboratory tests confirmed the diagnosis of multiple myeloma. Due to the indication for antiresorptive therapy, a dental evaluation was requested. Clinical and radiographic examinations identified infectious foci in teeth 17, 13, 12, 22, 27, 28, 45, and 46. Multiple extractions were performed in a hospital setting. After oral management, antiresorptive therapy was initiated with denosumab and VDR-Lite protocol, considering the patient`s low creatine clearance. After nine months of follow-up, no oral complications were observed and the patient continues to respond well clinically. This case emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in the preventive management of patients undergoing antiresorptive and multiple myeloma treatment.
