Título: FOLLICULAR AMELOBLASTOMA IN A PEDIATRIC PATIENT

Resumo: This study aims to report the case of a 5-year-old patient diagnosed with ameloblastoma. Extraoral physical examination revealed an increase in volume in the mandibular symphysis region, evidencing facial asymmetry to the right. Intraoral examination revealed a prominent bulge, of normal color and hardened consistency, extending from tooth 73 to tooth 84, with evident effacement of the vestibular sulcus. Imaging examination showed an extensive hypodense area in the anterior mandibular region, with vestibular and lingual expansion of the cortical bones, with rupture sites. Incisional biopsy was performed, and the anatomopathological examination confirmed an ameloblastoma, with a follicular histopathological pattern. Conservative treatment was chosen, with extraction of the involved teeth, curettage of the lesion, application of 5-fluorouracil, insertion of a bone graft and I-PRF. The case evolved without signs of recurrence.
