Resumo: Granular cell tumor (GCT) is a rare benign neoplasm that typically affects the oral cavity, particularly in patients over 30 years old, with a strong predilection for the tongue. This report presents a 15-year-old female with no relevant medical history, who sought dental care due to a nodular lesion on the dorsal surface of her tongue. Clinical examination revealed a well-defined, painless, yellowish nodule approximately 1 cm in diameter, with an unknown onset. The initial differential diagnosis included neurofibroma, lipoma, and GCT. An excisional biopsy was performed, revealing large polygonal cells with granular eosinophilic cytoplasm and round nuclei. Histopathological analysis confirmed the diagnosis of granular cell tumor. The postoperative course was uneventful, and the patient remains under regular follow-up for six months with no signs of recurrence. This case highlights the importance of considering GCT in the differential diagnosis of tongue lesions, even in young patients.
