Resumo: A 33-year-old female patient, without systemic comorbidities, sought dental attention to evaluate a painless oral purple lesion with approximately 2 years of evolution. On oral clinical examination, a submucous, compressible, blue-purple swelling on the right side of the soft palate, measuring about 10 mm, was noted. Computed tomography revealed a slight, hypodense, superficial nodule, without significant morphological changes. Based on these findings, a diagnosis of benign vascular lesion was considered. Sclerotherapy with ethanolamine oleate 50 mg/mL was proposed, one application every 2 weeks (total of 4 applications), using 0.5 mL of the medication diluted in 2.0 mL of 50% glucose solution. Post-applications, the patient reported mild pain and slight edema in the region, being prescribed 1 g of dipyrone every 12 hours for 3 days. After 4 weeks of treatment, there was total regression of the lesion, without clinical signs of recurrence after 5 months of treatment.
