Resumo: Chondroid syringoma is a rare benign tumor of sweat gland origin, that typically occurrs in the head and neck region (particularly in the nose, cheeks, scalp, and forehead) of male patients. Hereinafter, we present a case of a 22-year-old female with a one-year history of a painless lower lip swelling. Physical examination revealed a 1 cm, well-circumscribed, firm nodule with normal surface appearance at the transition between the skin and semi-mucosa of the lower lip. Initially suspected to be a sebaceous cyst, the lesion was completely excised. Histopathological examination demonstrated a characteristic biphasic pattern: epithelial and myoepithelial cell proliferation within a fibrous stroma, with scattered apocrine-type ducts. Notably absent were cellular atypia or mitotic figures. The final diagnosis was chondroid syringoma. No recurrence was observed after one year of follow-up. This case highlights the importance of considering chondroid syringoma in the differential diagnosis of lip nodules, even in atypical location.
