Título: VERRUCOUS CARCINOMA OF THE MAXILLA: COMPLETE EXCISION AND SIX-MONTH FOLLOW-UP

Resumo: A male patient presented with a necrotic soft tissue lesion in the right maxilla, with foul odor and minimal bleeding. Clinical evolution was reported to be approximately one year. Histopathological analysis revealed verrucous carcinoma, showing hyperplastic squamous epithelium with hyperparakeratosis, dyskeratosis, atypical mitoses, and neoplastic epithelial islands extending into the connective tissue. Following diagnosis, complete surgical excision of the lesion was performed. Despite initial compromise of surgical margins, the patient showed favorable healing and no signs of recurrence. At six-month follow-up, clinical images confirmed satisfactory soft tissue repair and resolution of the lesion. The patient remains under routine monitoring.
