Resumo: A 69-year-old female patient presented with intense burning sensations in the tongue and palate, accompanied by xerostomia, significantly affecting her quality of life. She had consulted multiple healthcare providers and received varying diagnoses, including cancer-an experience that led to suicidal ideation. Following a thorough clinical evaluation, no intraoral abnormalities were detected, and after excluding other possible conditions, Burning Mouth Syndrome (BMS) was diagnosed. The patient rated her pain as 10 on the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). Treatment was initiated with CR Wellness® full spectrum cannabidiol oil (CBD) at a concentration of 3000 mg/30 mL, administered as 2 drops twice daily (morning and evening). Remarkably, within the first week of therapy, the patient reported complete resolution of pain (VAS 0) and a reduction in anxiety, with no need for dose adjustments. She continues on CBD maintenance therapy, achieving sustained symptom control and a marked improvement in her quality of life.
