Resumo: Dentigerous cysts are benign odontogenic lesions commonly associated with the crowns of unerupted teeth. Although frequent, the presence of Rushton bodies - histologically characterized by eosinophilic hyaline structures - is rarely reported. This case report describes the clinical scenario of a 16-year-old patient who underwent extraction of teeth 37, 38, and 48, associated with cystic lesions incidentally detected during routine dental imaging. Surgical planning involved panoramic radiography and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). At the three-month postoperative follow-up, bone regeneration was observed in the region, possibly favored by the application of platelet-rich plasma (PRP). This report highlights a satisfactory clinical outcome resulting from effective surgical planning combined with the use of PRP as a therapeutic adjunct in a cystic lesion with a rare histopathological finding, and reinforces the importance of meticulous microscopic evaluation.
