Resumo: Imaging exams are relevant tools in the diagnostic process of certain oral lesions, with emphasis on radiographic exams in mineralized areas. Recently, Dentistry has incorporated Ultrasonography as an imaging resource, focused on soft tissue lesions. The objective of this work is to report the use of ultrasound examination in graduation teaching of the Stomatology discipline of a dental school, contributing to the diagnosis and surgical management of five oral lesions. Ultrasonography with the Doppler tool, has contributed to the diagnosis and surgical planning, demonstrating the vascular dynamics and content of the following lesions: nasolabial cyst, multicystic ameloblastoma, Sjögrens syndrome, submandibular lymph node enlargement and mucocele, confirmed by histopathological diagnosis. The students were able to have contact with a new imaging technology used into Dentistry. It was concluded that the use of Ultrasonography in the routine of the graduation clinic in Stomatology brought diagnostic contributions and added knowledge to the students.
