Resumo: A 74-year-old female patient with a significant smoking history (120 pack-years) was diagnosed with metastatic pulmonary adenocarcinoma involving the lungs, lymph nodes, and pleura. She began intensive treatment in 2024 through the POSEIDON trial, followed by Amivantamab, administered weekly for four weeks, then biweekly. During infusion, she reported tip-of-tongue sensitivity and oral bleeding (patient on anticoagulation therapy); laser therapy was initiated. Due to late-onset Amivantamab toxicity, she developed drug-induced stomatitis with ulcers lacking pseudomembranes and erythematous bases, affecting the lower labial mucosa, bilateral ventral tongue, and soft palate. Cutaneous toxicity was also observed. Management included 0.1% Clobetasol Propionate mouth rinse three times daily for seven days, combined with systemic corticosteroids. The patient ultimately passed away after two years of treatment due to complications of metastatic pulmonary adenocarcinoma.
