Resumo: This case report describes a 63-year-old female non-smoker with a palatal mass that progressed over 30 years in a resource-limited setting. Clinical examination revealed a firm tumor occupying the hard palate with more than 1 cm size. Incisional biopsy confirmed pleomorphic adenoma (WHO Classification). Treatment delay due to systemic constraints led to severe stomatognathic dysfunction. The lesion was surgically excised with referral for tertiary rehabilitation. Key implications: (1) benign salivary tumors may cause significant morbidity when neglected, and (2) structural barriers in oral healthcare require policy-level interventions.
