Título: SYNCHRONOUS SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMAS OF ORAL CAVITY IN A PATIENT WITHOUT RISK FACTORS

Resumo: A 65-year-old white female patient, non-alcoholic and non-smoking, was referred to our service for evaluation of an ulcerated lesion on the lower alveolar ridge. The patient had a previous history of tongue verrucous carcinoma. An extraoral examination showed no relevant alterations. Intraoral examination revealed an exophytic ulcer of approximately 1 cm on the left jugal mucosa and an exophytic ulcer on the lower alveolar ridge measuring approximately 1.5 cm on the same side. The clinical diagnosis was squamous cell carcinoma for both lesions. Biopsies were performed, and histopathological examination confirmed the clinical diagnosis. The patient underwent surgical treatment followed by radiotherapy. Currently, the patient is being monitored by our multidisciplinary team. This report demonstrates a rare case of synchronous SCC in a non-alcoholic and non-smoking female patient.
