Resumo: A 20-month-old male infant presented with his mother, who reported recurrent swelling in the oral region. Dental care was sought due to feeding refusal, although there was no complaint of pain. Physical examination revealed a large mass in the mandibular parasymphysis, with the absence of two deciduous teeth, which had never erupted, according to the mother. The lesion was semi-rigid on palpation, with no signs of infection. A lateral skull radiograph and CT scan showed a large hypodense lesion in the anterior mandible, with cortical bone expansion and destruction, and displacement of two deciduous teeth. An incisional biopsy revealed a benign neoplasm composed of spindle cells and myxoid stroma, consistent with odontogenic myxoma. Complete surgical excision with wide margins was performed. The tumor presented well-defined limits, whitish color, and rubbery consistency. Teeth 72 and 73 were removed with the lesion. No recurrence was observed after 11 months of follow-up.
