Título: Ameloblastic Fibroma in the Anterior Mandible of a Teenager

Resumo: Ameloblastic fibroma is a rare mixed odontogenic tumor composed of ectomesenchymaltissue resembling the dental papilla and the epithelial component similar to the earlyenamel organ without dental hard tissue. A 14-year-old male patient was referred after adental procedure revealed a radiolucent, multilocular lesion with radiopaque corticalin the mental region on panoramic radiography. Cone-beam computed tomographyconfirmed cortical expansion of the buccal bone plate. Pulp vitality testing showed positiveresponses in all affected teeth. An incisional biopsywas performed and sent to histopathological analysis. Microscopically, islands and strandsof odontogenic epithelium with peripheral columnar palisaded cells and sometimes,containing component of stellate reticulum-like tissue were observed. Additionally, acollagenous capsula was present and no dental hard tissue was detected. The final diagnosiswas ameloblastic fibroma. Complete surgical removal was performed, and no recurrencewas observed after one year of follow-up. This case highlights the importance of earlydiagnosis and appropriate management of ameloblastic fibroma to prevent complications.
