Resumo: Maxillofacial defects include surgical, traumatic, or congenital sequelae in the head and neck region. Prosthetic rehabilitation of maxillofacial defects is a time-consuming, complex, and challenging task that requires recovering the aesthetic design of the area, in addition to the professionals knowledge and expertise in specific techniques. It's also crucial psychosocial considerations for these individuals. The authors will present a clinical case of rehabilitation in an oncological mutilated facial patient with adhesive silicone orbital prosthesis. The application of virtual planning and additive manufacturing in healthcare is continuously evolving, with the capability to segment computed tomography scans for the generation of 3D models significantly enhancing the visualization process and improving the precision of facial prosthesis fabrication. This technique provides greater agility and speed in the rehabilitation process, with fewer in-person visits by the patient, leads to more accurate prostheses, with more natural outcomes, comfortbly design, and an overall better quality of life.
