Resumo: A 68yo black male patient was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue pT3N2aM0 submitted to hemipelvigossectomy and right cervical lymph node dissection levels I through III, followed by radiotherapy (IMRT) and concomitant chemotherapy with cisplatin. Twenty-seven days after the completion of radiotherapy, the patient underwent a post-treatment we observed two hypochromic nodules in the lower labial mucosa hardened consistency, and with painful symptoms. Other nodules were observed in the neck and trunck skin. CT scans revealed infiltrative lesions on the floor of the mouth and multiple cutaneous nodules on the anterior wall of the cervicothoracic transition. The diagnostic hypothesis was cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma. An incisional biopsy on lower lip lesion revelad a nodular proliferation of neoplastic cells reaching the diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma. The patient started palliative chemotherapy with docetaxel, but due to disease progression, chemotherapy was discontinued and the patient died due to disease progression.
