Resumo: Hyalinizing clear cell carcinoma (HCCC) is a rare, low-grade malignant epithelial tumor of the salivary glands, accounting for less than 1% of all salivary gland neoplasms. A 36-year-old woman presented with a five-month history of a painless, well-defined, reddish nodule (1.5 cm) on the left side of the hard palate. The lesion had a fibroelastic consistency with superficial ulceration. A cone-beam computed tomography was requested, revealing a hyperdense mass without bone framework involvement. Based on clinical presentation, the main diagnostic hypotheses were pleomorphic adenoma and mucoepidermoid carcinoma. An incisional biopsy was performed, with histopathological and immunohistochemical findings suggesting an unspecified salivary gland adenocarcinoma. The patient was subsequently referred to an oncologic center for surgical excision and definitive histopathological subtyping, which confirmed HCCC. Postoperative management included prosthetic obturator rehabilitation. The patient is in regular medical and dental follow-up without evidence of recurrence.
