Categoria do Trabalho: Painel de caso clínico (PCC)
Área Temática: Estomatologia
Resumo: Case 1: A 66-year-old man presented with blackened macules on the face and three asymptomatic, yellowish, smooth-surfaced nodules on the dorsum of the tongue, measuring between 0.5 and 1 cm. Excisional biopsies were performed under the hypothesis of benign mesenchymal neoplasms or granular cell tumor (GCT). Case 2: A 35-year-old woman presented with two asymptomatic, yellowish, smooth-surfaced nodules on the dorsum of the tongue and one on the lower lip, measuring between 0.5 and 1 cm. An incisional biopsy was performed on the tongue lesion under the hypothesis of lipomatous lesions or amyloidosis. Microscopically, the lesions were covered by parakeratinized epithelium with granular cells in the lamina propria and among the muscle fibers, establishing the diagnosis of multiple GCT in both cases, which are being investigated for Leopard syndrome. The first case shows no signs of recurrence and the second will undergo complete excision of the lesions and regular monitoring.
