Resumo: A 64-year-old female with hypertension, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and a history of kidney transplantation presented with a two-year history of gingival inflammation adjacent to a tooth. Clinical examination revealed hyperplastic and erythematous gingival tissue in the upper anterior arch. Her medication regimen included NPH insulin, regular insulin, amlodipine, propranolol, atorvastatin, vitamin B, pantoprazole, cyclosporine, mycophenolate, zolpidem, clopidogrel, and aspirin. Among these, cyclosporine was identified as the likely causative agent for gingival hyperplasia. Based on the clinical presentation, a diagnosis of cyclosporine-induced gingival hyperplasia was established. On February 10, 2024, surgical laser gingivoplasty was performed to remove excess tissue and restore gingival function and aesthetics. The procedure was successful, and the patient was maintained on postoperative follow-up to monitor tissue healing. This case underscores the importance of recognizing drug-induced oral manifestations in immunosuppressed patients.
