Dear friends of SOBEP,
In this delicate moment that the world is living, I would like to address you with a message of hope, unity and gratitude. I wish that health is reestablished, that we can live better days and meet again soon.
This year, for us to remain united even in this scenario, we will meet online with the primary objective of ensuring the health of all and maintaining the scientific and professional development of our members.
The organizing committee had the arduous task of maintaining the classic teaching structure perpetuated at the SOBEP congresses, which is among the largest in the world in the areas of oral pathology and stomatology. The scientific program for this edition was built with the aim of serving the two specialties with international courses, round tables, in addition to traditional presentations of clinical cases, posters, slide and image seminars, and clinical-pathological conferences.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I express my acknowledgments to everyone who is helping us to make this event possible and to each of the participants in the congress for believing that our union and resilience are vital to keep SOBEP active even in the pandemic period.
As President of SOBEP, I also thank our current board members and all SOBEP associates for their support. Our successful society is a reflection of the dedication, unity and generosity of its past and present associates. We continue together looking for personal and professional excellence.

Dear Colleagues
The invitation to participate in the 46th SOBEP Congress obliges us to remember how much our lives were changed by the COVID 19 pandemic in 2020. These changes distanced, brought insecurity and uncertainty and I allow myself to express my condolences to those who eventually lost someone close during this calamity.
The changes experienced transformed our view and translated into advances in the way we share our experiences.
This congress will certainly consolidate new models for exchanging experiences and strengthening our bonds.
The organizing committee is working hard to offer activities that will further improve our specialty.
